Solley’s Ice Cream
Solley’s Farm has been the home to the family’s herd of Guernsey cows since the 1930’s. As Guernsey milk is ideal for ice cream due to its high cream content, the first batches of Solley’s Ice Cream were made. With 85% of the ingredients sourced locally, Solley’s have grown to become the South East’s largest independent producer of real dairy ice cream.
Woodman & His Wife
A family run business, which has been caring for trees and woodland for 20 years.
From the woodland they work, The Woodman & His Wife coppice Sweet Chestnut. From this, they produce traditional Chestnut fencing, as well as rose arches, sheep hurdles, garden furniture, bespoke gates and trellis.

Amy’s love of using and enjoying handmade items in her everyday life, the simple pleasures of using a hand thrown mug, a turned wooden bowl and a handmade wooden spoon makes her heart sing. The wood she uses is sustainably sourced from local tree surgeons, or coppiced woodland, and is worked with hand tools.

Kent Guild of Spinners, Dyers and Weavers
The Kent Guild of Spinners Dyers and Weavers was formed in 1949, to preserve and promote the crafts of spinning weaving and dyeing. The members practice a wide variety of fibre related crafts, weaving on floor looms, table looms, tapestry and inkle looms, spinning on wheels and drop spindles, dyeing a wide variety of fibres with both natural dyes and commercial dyes.
